Monday 23 December:
Boarding will take place between 16:00 and 19:00 in Arnhem. The musician will provide a convivial atmosphere on board this evening and for the rest of the trip. During dinner we will set sail for Bonn.
Tuesday 24 December:
The centre of Bonn houses many lovely monuments. The central market place is dominated by the Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall) painted in pastel shades. It’s Christmas Eve and if you want, you can attend Mass in one of the nearby churches. Later in the evening you can enjoy a midnight buffet on board. Merry Christmas!
Wednesday 25 December:
Bonn - Andernach
After a Christmas breakfast we continue our holiday to Andernach. You can walk through the city walls to the centre of this Roman fortress from the boulevard. At the end of the afternoon there will be a Christmas aperitif in the stylish lounge. The chef de cuisine has pulled out all the culinary stops to provide a wonderful Christmas dinner. It would be very much appreciated if you dress up in your party clothes for this special evening.
Thursday 26 December:
Andernach - Koblenz
The morning begins with a wonderful champagne brunch. After lunch we will moor in Koblenz. You can explore the lively centre all afternoon or take the cable car up to the Ehrenbreitstein fortress. From this vantage point you have wonderful views not only of Koblenz but also of the Rhine and Moselle. In the evening you can once again enjoy a delicious Christmas dinner.
Friday 27 December:
Koblenz - Cochem
A visit to Cochem during a Mosel holiday is something not to be missed. The lively market square with its half-timbered houses and small shops gives the town a romantic ambiance. From high up on the Reichsburg hill you have wonderful views of Cochem and the Moselle valley.
Saturday 28 December:
Cochem - Traben Trarbach
You can enjoy the Moselle valley to the full today. High Tea will be served mid-afternoon before we arrive in Traben Trarbach, a town renowned for its Moselle wine. The characteristic half-timbered houses in the centre give the town a friendly ambiance.
Sunday 29 December:
Traben Trarbach - Trier
We arrive in Trier early in the afternoon. The town’s attractive centre has numerous sights and museums, but also lovely shops. The market place and the three main streets form one large pedestrian area. You will get to know the town best by walking through it.
Monday 30 December:
Trier - Zell
The Moselle town of Zell is idyllically located on one of the largest and loveliest bends of the Moselle, the Zeller Hamm. Wine lovers immediately think of the Schwarze Katz (Black Cat) vineyards, and a monument of a black cat can be found in the market place of this wine town.
Tuesday 31 December:
Zell - Cologne
We’ll arrive in Cologne late afternoon and everyone can get ready for an enjoyable New Year’s Eve. Tonight we will serve a wonderful gala dinner. The musician will ensure a lovely evening while you enjoy delicious amuses. At midnight we’ll pop the champagne corks and wish everyone a happy and healthy 2020! With the Dom in the background, lit by fireworks, this is a new year you won’t forget quickly.
Wednesday 1 January:
Cologne - Düsseldorf
You can take things easy on the first day of the new year. A delicious champagne brunch awaits you in the restaurant which means you can enjoy a restful night for a little bit longer. Then we sail gently towards Düsseldorf. You can take a refreshing walk along the Rhine promenade or through the Altstadt (Old Town)!
Thursday 2 January:
Düsseldorf - Arnhem
The ship will quietly make its way early on the last part of this stylish cruise. We will arrive in Arnhem after breakfast where we say goodbye to you.
