Thursday September 12:
Arnhem – Cologne
We like to welcome you on board from 16:00. After a warm welcome from your captain and hotel manager you’ll be invited to the restaurant for a delicious dinner. Meanwhile we’ll weigh anchor and set sail for Cologne. After dinner the musician will ensure an enjoyable evening in the lounge.
Friday September 13:
Cologne – Andernach
Early afternoon we will reach Cologne. The gothic Cologne Cathedral is the symbol of the city and with an annual 6 million visitors it is also the biggest tourist attraction in Germany. Those of you looking for a sporty challenge can go up the south tower. It’s quite a climb but once you reach the top you will be treated to a breathtaking view of Cologne. If you prefer to take things a bit slower you can visit one of the many beer houses on the Alter Markt (old market place) for a glass of Kölsch, Colognes own beer. During dinner we will sail to Andernach.
Saturday September 14:
Andernach – Oberwesel – Boppard
We will be staying in Andernach until lunchtime. On our way to Oberwesel we are treated to a magnificent panorama, the highlight being the passing of the Lorelei. This evening in Oberwesel, whilst enjoying champagne with canapes, you will be experience a magnificent firework show. From our berthing place you will have an excellent view. Afterwards we will sail to Boppard where we will spend the night.
Sunday September 15:
Boppard – Cochem
We’ll leave Boppard early in the morning and set our course towards Cochem. Once on the Moselle we need to pass some locks before reaching Cochem. The Reichsburg, towering high above the river is well worth your visit. Or you can take the chairlift to Pinner Kreuz for a birds eye view of Cochem and the Moselle Valley.
Monday September 16:
Cochem – Koblenz – Bonn
On our way to Koblenz you get to enjoy the Moselle Valley once again. Early afternoon we reach Koblenz. Here you can take a stroll over the Deutsche Eck or take the cable car and float across the Rhine to Ehrenbreitstein Castle. We expect you back on board at the end of the afternoon and set sail to Bonn. Tonight you’ll enjoy an exquisite Farewell Dinner, followed by a festive evening.
Tuesday September 17:
Bonn – Arnhem (coach transfer)
The last day of this cruise has arrived. After an early breakfast the touring cars will be ready to take you back to Arnhem. On the way you’ll be provided with a lunch package and coffee. We expect to be back in Arnhem around noon and say our goodbyes.
